Description

6944X 185mm² four core steel wire armoured cable is constructed from Class 2 stranded plain copper conductors, XLPE insulation, extruded PVC bedding, galvanised steel wire armour and a tough black PVC outer sheath. The four cores are colour-coded brown, black, grey and blue, with a voltage rating of 600/1000V. Manufactured to BS 5467 / IEC 60502 and BASEC approved, this heavy-duty cable is designed for three-phase mains power distribution and sub-mains, with the steel armour giving robust mechanical protection for indoor, outdoor, ducted or direct-burial installations.
