Description

The AD956J is a 2-pole Residual Current Circuit Breaker with Overcurrent protection (RCBO) rated at 6A with a C-curve tripping characteristic. It combines earth fault and overcurrent protection in a single compact 2-module device, offering a short-circuit breaking capacity of 6 kA at 240V AC. The residual current sensitivity is 30mA Type A, detecting both AC and pulsating DC leakage currents.
Designed for use in residential and light commercial applications, this device is suitable for protecting circuits where higher inrush currents are expected, such as motor loads and fluorescent lighting. The C-curve tripping profile helps avoid nuisance trips on startup surges. It supports conductor cross-sections of 1–16mm² flexible and 1–25mm² rigid.
