Description

The AD990J is a 2-pole RCBO with a 40A rated current and C-curve tripping characteristic. It delivers a 6 kA short-circuit breaking capacity and 30mA Type A residual current protection, making it suitable for high-current single-phase circuits in residential and light commercial installations.
At 40A, this RCBO is typically deployed on main circuits or high-demand branch circuits where large motor loads or heating elements are present. The C-curve minimises unwanted tripping caused by normal operational inrush currents.
The AD990J is IP20 rated, RoHS compliant, and mounts on standard DIN rail. It supports conductor sizes from 1–16mm² flexible and 1–25mm² rigid, with screw terminal connections.
