Description

The HMB280 is a 2-pole, 80A MCB with a B-type tripping curve and a 15kA breaking capacity, designed for protection of two-phase or single-phase circuits with neutral switching in commercial and industrial distribution. The 2-pole format simultaneously disconnects both the phase and neutral conductors.
Occupying 3 DIN rail modules, the HMB280 accepts flexible conductors up to 50mm² and rigid conductors up to 70mm². The simultaneous 2-pole disconnection is required in certain TT earthing system applications and for circuits requiring full isolation on both poles.
RoHS compliant, IP20 rated, and designed for an operating temperature of -25°C to +70°C, the HMB280 supports the same auxiliary contact and shunt trip accessories as the wider HMB series.
