Description

The KB163P is a 1-pole insulated prong-type busbar rated at 63A, with a 10mm² cross-section and brown (phase) colour coding. It provides 13 connection points across its length and allows simultaneous connection of multiple single-pole MCBs to a common live supply rail within a distribution board.
Prong-type busbars insert into the back terminals of DIN rail-mounted MCBs, eliminating the need for individual supply wiring and significantly reducing installation time. The brown colour coding identifies this as a phase (live) busbar in accordance with standard wiring colour conventions.
The KB163P is part of Hager’s extensive insulated busbar range and is compatible with single-pole MCBs in the 63A or lower range. It is suitable for use in consumer units and distribution boards where a neat, efficient live rail connection is required.
