Description

The Legrand Plexo³ 601976 is a surface-mounted weatherproof distribution enclosure designed to house 6 modular devices in a single row. Rated IP65 and IK09, it provides complete protection against dust ingress and powerful water jets from any direction, making it ideal for outdoor installations, agricultural environments, photovoltaic installations, and light industrial applications. The enclosure is constructed from impact-resistant, self-extinguishing reinforced polystyrene rated to withstand incandescent wire at 650°C, ensuring a high level of fire safety. Its compact dimensions of 200×164×116 mm make it suitable for locations where space is limited.

The enclosure features a fully reversible door and cabinet body, allowing flexible installation orientation, and includes a lockable door handle along with tamper-evident covers and faceplates to protect against unauthorised access. A two-position DIN rail supports modular circuit breakers and moulded cases, while 150 mm rail spacing accommodates perforated plates and solid faceplates for non-modular devices. The unit is supplied with direct perforation entry glands, PE and N terminal blocks, and all necessary pole fillers, simplifying installation. It conforms to EN 60439-3 and is Class II rated, making it suitable for a wide range of residential, commercial, and industrial applications where weatherproof protection is essential.
