The MU163A is a single-pole, 63A MCB with a C-type tripping curve and 6kA breaking capacity, the highest-rated device in the single-pole MU range. It is designed for main incomer circuit protection in smaller consumer units and for large sub-main single-phase circuits in commercial and industrial distribution boards.
The 63A rating makes it appropriate for protecting distribution boards served by a 63A supply, or for protection of high-current dedicated circuits such as large heating or EV charging loads. The 1-module format maintains space efficiency even at this current rating.
RoHS compliant and part of Hager’s MU range, the MU163A is compatible with standard MCB auxiliary accessories and suitable for distribution boards conforming to EN 60898-1 in commercial and residential applications.
