6943X 6.0mm² SWA (Steel Wire Armoured) cable is a 3-core power and control cable manufactured to BS 5467, BASEC approved. It features a Class 2 stranded copper conductor to BS EN 60228:2005, XLPE insulation (nominal thickness 0.7mm), PVC bedding, galvanised steel wire armour for mechanical protection, and a black PVC outer sheath. Core identification: brown, black, and grey. Voltage rating is 0.6/1kV (600/1000V), with a fixed temperature rating of -25°C to +90°C and a minimum bending radius of 6x the overall diameter. Overall cable diameter is approximately 15.0–17.4mm, weighing around 510–568kg/km, and suits a 20mm gland (BW20L indoor / CW20L outdoor, or 20S) with a size 6/7 (C6/CC7) cable cleat. Current rating approximately 44–63A.
