6945X 25.0mm² SWA (Steel Wire Armoured) cable is a 5-core power and control cable manufactured to BS 5467, BASEC approved. It features a Class 2 stranded plain copper conductor (7/2.14mm stranding) to BS EN 60228:2005, XLPE insulation, PVC bedding, galvanised steel wire armour for mechanical protection, and a black PVC outer sheath. Voltage rating is 600/1000V, with an operating temperature range of -15°C to +90°C (installation not recommended below 0°C). Overall cable diameter is approximately 29mm, weighing around 2200kg/km, and suits a 32mm gland with a 1.2mm nylon cleat size. Suitable for mains power distribution, industrial wiring, and auxiliary control applications in indoor, outdoor, and underground settings, including direct burial, cable tray, ducting, or embedding in concrete.
