6944X 150mm² SWA (Steel Wire Armoured) cable is a large-diameter, 4-core power cable manufactured to BS 5467, IEC/EN 60502-1, and IEC/EN 60228 standards, flame retardant per IEC/EN 60332-1-2. It features stranded copper conductors, XLPE insulation, PVC bedding, galvanised steel wire armour for mechanical protection, and a black PVC outer sheath with harmonised core identification. Rated 0.6/1kV (600/1000V), current rating approximately 386A. Suitable for a variety of three-phase applications, mains electricity distribution, power networks, and incoming mains supply to buildings, and can be used for direct burial or attaching to structures/buildings. Requires a 50mm gland (BW50 indoor / CW50 outdoor). The XLPE insulation is chemical- and fluid-resistant with good heat stability. Suitable for indoor, outdoor, and underground applications, including cable ducting and tray. Sold cut to length, priced per metre.
