6945X 120mm² SWA (Steel Wire Armoured) cable is a large-diameter, 5-core power cable manufactured to BS 5467 standards. It features stranded copper conductors, XLPE insulation, PVC bedding, galvanised steel wire armour for mechanical protection, and a black PVC outer sheath with harmonised core identification. Rated 600/1000V, it operates safely between -15°C (fixed installation) and +90°C conductor temperature, and should not be installed below 0°C. Suitable for heavy-duty power networks, industrial and commercial power distribution, and can be buried directly or installed underground, outdoors, indoors, on cable tray, or in ducting. Due to its large cross-sectional area, it’s typically used for high-current mains supply applications. Sold cut to length, priced per metre.
