Description

The ADB440G is a single-pole, 1-module RCBO rated at 40A with a B-type tripping curve, 6kA breaking capacity, and 30mA Type A residual current sensitivity. The B-type characteristic suits resistive and lightly inductive loads, and the high 40A rating makes this device appropriate for high-current single-phase circuits including EV chargers and storage heaters.
The ultra-compact 1-module DIN rail format is designed for space-efficient consumer units. Type A classification ensures detection of both sinusoidal AC and pulsating DC residual fault currents. Screw and biconnect terminals accept flexible conductors up to 10mm².
IP20 rated and RoHS compliant, the ADB440G is part of Hager’s ADB range of compact 1-module RCBOs and is designed for use in Irish residential consumer units conforming to I.S.10101.
