Description

The AFM466C is a 4-pole RCBO rated at 16A with a C-curve characteristic, 6 kA breaking capacity, and a higher residual current sensitivity of 300mA Type A. This higher trip threshold is appropriate for use as a selective or upstream device in a TT system where downstream 30mA protection is provided individually for each circuit.
The 300mA sensitivity makes the AFM466C suitable as an incomer-level protective device in distribution boards, providing earth fault protection without unnecessarily tripping on small leakage currents from multiple downstream circuits. The C-curve handles typical inrush current levels.
The device is DIN rail mountable in a compact 4-module housing, IP20 rated, and operates at 230/400V AC. It meets IEC 61009 and RoHS requirements.
