Description

The Legrand 035940 is a compact Plexo plastic industrial enclosure rated IP55 and IK07, measuring 155×110×74mm. Manufactured from grey RAL7035 polypropylene, it is designed for housing small electrical or electronic assemblies in industrial and commercial environments where protection from dust and water jets is needed. The opaque cover is secured by a quarter-turn latch for tool-free access, and the smooth exterior sides allow cable entries to be made at any convenient position using knock-outs or glands.

The 035940 accepts a small DIN rail or mounting plate (available separately) for internal component mounting, and can be wall-mounted using four oblong holes in the base or with optional wall-mounting brackets. Self-extinguishing to IEC 60695-2-11, it provides fire safety in addition to physical protection. This enclosure is widely used for small junction boxes, sensor housings, signal conditioners, and control components in manufacturing, utilities, and automation applications where a compact, rugged IP55 enclosure is required.
