6943X 10mm² SWA (Steel Wire Armoured) cable is a 3-core power and control cable manufactured to BS 5467 and IEC 60502. It features Class 2 stranded plain copper conductors to BS EN 60228:2005, XLPE insulation, PVC bedding, galvanised steel wire armour for mechanical protection, and a black PVC outer sheath. Core identification: brown, black, and grey. Voltage rating is 0.6/1kV (600/1000V), with an operating temperature range of 0°C to +90°C and a minimum bending radius of 12x diameter. Overall cable diameter is approximately 17.2–18.9mm, weighing around 780kg/km, and suits a 20mm gland (BW20 indoor / CW20 outdoor) with a size 7 (C7) cable cleat. Current rating approximately 58–73A depending on installation method.
