6945X 2.5mm² SWA (Steel Wire Armoured) cable is a 5-core power and control cable manufactured to BS 5467, BASEC approved. It features a Class 2 stranded plain copper conductor to BS EN 60228:2005, XLPE insulation, PVC bedding, galvanised steel wire armour for mechanical protection, and a black PVC outer sheath. Voltage rating is 600/1000V, with an operating temperature range of -15°C to +90°C. Overall cable diameter is approximately 16.2–16.3mm, suiting an M20 gland and size 7 cleat. Suitable for auxiliary control cables in aerial power networks, outdoor, indoor, and underground applications, direct burial in free-draining soil, and installation clipped to a surface, on tray, in basket, or in free air.
